The brief was one line: make a book. I was handed four construction photos from the restoration of the Monument Peak Lookout Tower in Monarch, Montana, and the rest was open. So I built the project from the ground up, shaping the concept and storyboard, and expanding the scope beyond the original ask into a broader historical account of fire lookout towers and Monument Peak itself. From there I scouted and sourced historical imagery, directed content requests to the content designer, and coordinated directly with the printing press to bring the finished booklet into the tower for visitors to find.
